Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in our dance company!

DançAmore stands for dancing from the heart which is our main philosophy in dancing. This is a motto which we live by when we’re giving our classes, performing on stage or during social dancing.

Being born and raised in the Caribbean, we have a true sense of the Caribbean culture and dance. We focus mainly on Bachata and Salsa, but we have experience in other Caribbean dances as well. Since 2012 we also added Kizomba (Angolan dance) to our expertise.

Our aim is to keep developing our dancing skills to bring you the best quality in our classes and workshops. We believe that working together with other dance companies and teachers only make you grow and we are always open for collaborations and projects.

We would love to see you at one of our classes or workshops soon. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

GLEN

Owner & main dance instructor, dance coach

Growing up in the Caribbean with a Dominican stepdad who happened to be a DJ at that time, Glen was surrounded by latin music at an early age. In 2004 Glen moved to The Netherlands to pursue his studies and started taking Salsa classes in 2006. Bachata classes followed, as well as participating in several Salsa performance groups. In 2011 he and his partner Khristy were finalists at the first Dutch Bachata Championship and they won the first title. This resulted in many requests to teach Salsa and Bachata classes and workshops around The Netherlands and abroad. In 2012 Glen added Kizomba to his arsenal, as this Angolan dance was gaining popularity in The Netherlands. In 2013 Glen & Khristy decided to start their own dance company DançAmore and continue to spread their love for dancing with others. Glen is known for his unique sense for musicality and timing, for being creative and playful on the dance floor and for his relaxed way of teaching.
